BRANCA
PEIXOTO

Hello, I’m Branca — a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist currently based in London. My work explores the relationship between body, space, and memory through performance, dance film, and documentary practices. I’m particularly drawn to intimate narratives that carry emotion, vulnerability, and a sense of belonging.
Movement is at the heart of my work, not as a way to illustrate something, but as a way to feel, question, and stay with complexity. I often collaborate with other artists—performers, filmmakers, musicians—to create pieces that live between forms and invite reflection, connection, and sometimes even participation.
Over the years, I’ve worked across theatre, film, exhibitions, and public space. I’ve performed in stage productions, site-specific works, and telematic performances. My background also includes architecture, scenography, and over a decade of experience teaching ballet to children.
I believe in sensitive, poetic work that opens space for truth—whether it's on stage, through the screen, or somewhere in between.
